I’m looking for someone who uses or has used the Ardent Flippin Reel. Anyone have feedback on these or any of the other reels they make? Thanks

If you're referring to the Denny Brauer reel, I had the original one years ago. Loved that thing but it was heavy! I want the newest version so bad but left hand isn't available yet and I don't like that it only comes in 6.5:1 ratio either. I like an 8 ratio for flipping and pitching. 

That was my main hang up as well. I want to try a lefty for flippin and pitchin really bad but I just thought this one might work well right handed. Other than that how are the Ardent reels in general?

I've only tried the flippin one and the Apex Elite. Both were very well built. I think Ardent is pretty overlooked by anglers. I was told by CS that a lefty would be available this month. Still not sure about that gear ratio though.
