Howdy folks,

I'm going to Florida for a couple of days in the end of January. I'm unbelievably eager to get my line wet, as it's about -20 here in IL with windchill. We are staying in Davenport and going to Orlando mostly. I have the Sunday morning to fish. Anywhere I want and it's my money to spend. What are some people recommendations as to what I should do? Unfortunately, we are flying down, so I can't bring any tackle or rods.

Lake Toho would be my choice if you have the time for a half day trip. Pm me if you'd like some info on guides.

Lake Toho.  Chuck Pippin would be my guide of choice.  Check him out on Facebook and Youtube.

Took my son and grandson fishing the Disney water.

We had a blast.

Consider contacting one of the guides at Disney. I don't believe you have to be staying at the park as you pay with your credit card after the trip.

My son nailed a four pounder while my five year old grandson had fun reeling them in, one after another after another after another.......

And you can bring your girlfriend, too.

Have a fun and safe trip.

Let us know what you do and post some pics.

I've heard about the fishing at Disney, I appreciate the link. I'd really like to go to Toho and catch a toad of a bass. But Im just not sure if I'd have the time.

Robert, try to make time.

As you get older your responsibilities will become greater with a wife, kids and career.

So go out there and have some fun while you can.

Hahaha. You'll have to talk to my girlfriend about that. She's already peeved at my 6 hour day trip on Day 1.
