Megabass Orochi spinning rod

Featured Replies

My buddy is looking to get a Megabass Orochi spinning rod on sale. I see most places are sold out. Anybody know any websites that still have any?

A lot of big sales on them thanksgiving thru Christmas, I heard they are coming out with new model but not sure if true....it was on the internet and we know the internet is never wrong..LOL

The first gen Orochi XX spinning rods are sold out and discontinued. At least all the dealers I knew about online are sold out.

New updated generation from what I’ve heard from a good source should be released at the Classic.

Susquehanna Fishing Tackle still has a couple of them, but still at full price.

There’s some threads specific to the XXX series on another forum. They’re a JDM series so typically shorter with different tapers. The way I interpret what I’ve read is the consensus is they’re good rods,  but not as good the XX series.

Thanks. I didn't even catch that it was XX vs XXX. Just saw 2017. Thought it was a newer version.
