I realize u guys r probably tired of all the castling stuff but do u think the kastking speed demon at 8.3 oz is too heavy for flipping. I want that on because it is9.3:1 and I also want to use it for frogs. Thanks for any feedback

There's no standard for what is considered too heavy or too light. It's personal preference and what rod you will be putting it on too. If you don't think it's too heavy then it's not. Personally, I don't own but one reel over 7oz. But again, that's just my preference.

It's very noticeable imo. Especially if you don't already use anything that heavy. My son flips with the kastking stealth. It's plenty fast and light as a feather. Good luck
