I have been talking to several marine dealers on bumblebee boats but have had difficulty finding a brochure until i found sanford marine,not only did he send me a book pay postage but talked to me in detail on bumblebee.Even though he didn't have any in stock,he helped me to make my mind up,thanks again and those around him please give him some business for me!

They did but the rights i am told were bought out by the company that owns stratoes,i have no problem with that,the boats were well built and only small problems like hose clamps,etc were ever a problem which anyone can fix.There are some models out there still left

I bought my first boat last year and it was a 1985 Bumble Bee V185. The only problems with it are the things that the previous owner had done himself. The boat is smooth for it's size, a 17'8. They did go out of business earlier this year I believe and I hope that they have been picked up by Stratos co.
