Just checking, what would you get and why? Both brand new, Lowe would be 10-15% higher with Mercury 115hp but Suntracker got more features with 90hp. 

I’m curious as well.  Looking at Bass Buggy 18 to do some fishing and family hang out time

We decided to get suntracker party barge 22. The lowe one seems to have better build quality and bigger engine 115 vs 90 both command trust. Me, personally like lowes one better but it is my wife boat so I have no call.

 

Really depends on deck layout and the amount of wood involved.

 

you can find used Bennington and Premier’s for the same price and they are tons better in both respects........especially if your might put a TM on the bow for fishing.

 

Regardless, buy a triple log boat, since they don’t plane, the extra tube really helps

The workmanship is not as good as Lowe that I saw. The Bennington even better but that is out of our budget and used one is not easy to find. The triple logs pontoon is nice come with 150HP but that too much for us old ppl in Canyon Lake. We just need pontoon to cruise around with a glass of wine and picnic basket.

@Ralph Kingyou should check lowe sport fishing, I like that layout a lot with livewell that can serve as prep table and that price not far off the one I got. It is party barge 20, anyway.
