Swimbait Rod Options

Featured Replies

I’m wanting to start fishing swimbaits without breaking the bank.  I’ve done a little research and narrowed the list down to a few rods and was hoping to get some input. I know there are other options priced around the same as these rods, but since I’m using gift cards to purchase the rod I’m limited on options.  Anyone have experience with any of these rods?  If so, what do you think?

STAY AWAY FROM THAT MODEL BASS X!!!! I have one and was very disappointed. It’s a broomstick, not sensitive at all, with not many guides. Personally I don’t like the handle either with the split grip having only a small butt.
