Pocono Ice-out

Featured Replies

I'm trying to plan a trip to do some pre-spawn bass fishing in the poconos in the spring, can anyone tell me when ice-out up there typically is? Trying to shoot for the weekend of the 14th of April, hoping the water will be in the mid-high 40s. Thanks for any help

Just found your post. Ice out is a tough thing to call this early but it looks like we might have a early spring. Most of the lakes now have just a thin layer of ice on them so I would reasonably say that April shouldn't be a problem as far as having a clear lake. Good luck with the trip.
