Has anyone tried putting. Shroom jig head inside of this like a bigger tube? I just did it and it looks like it might work okay for creek smallies. I bought some of these last year and really didn’t use them because it was light and didn’t quite seem right with the jig head on the outside. I’m going to give it a shot. Can you tell it’s still winter here and I’m 

going nuts just waiting for the weather to warm up? 

No but TRD tubes work for smallies...and largemouth. They are small and look like they would attract panfish but give them a shot on tough days. In fact, I've used the TRD tubes also as the weight portion of a drop shot rig. It doesn't work
