Lake Conroe

Featured Replies

Anybody ever fished lake conroe? It's my home lake, I've been fishing it since the early 90s. I keep hearing from people about how bad of a lake it is. Even Jordan Lee said he hated the lake after he won the classic here last year. The big bass tour is here this weekend. It's a weigh in every hour tournament. You just don't see fish like this on any other lake. I have caught countless 5,6,7 and my PB is 11.08. After seeing the first day standings like this, could you honestly say that this is a bad lake??

Are there any "bad" bass lakes in Texas? Seems like Florida to me. Every mudhole has a good chance of holding a 10 lber. We've seen what Conroe can offer at the BASS event. Looks like a trophy lake to me. I'd kill to drop a line in that lake.

Ive been fishing there a few times in the past but not for a while now. I should have a topographic map of that lake at home. I'll upload it for you later if I do.

Yep, I do. It's generated from Navionics, has depth, obstructions, hotspots, the whole nine yards. For some reason I can't get it to upload. Guess I"ll try again if you want it.
