Cabela's Button Shad?

I'll keep this brief:  Has anyone used Cabela's Button Shad?  It looks like it might be a decent jigging bait.

I bought a few because they look interesting for jigging and casting when the baitfish are small.   The only issue I have with them is the hook size.  the 5/16 oz one(biggest size) has a #10 hook.   I may swap it out for an 8  or a short shank 6.

Have you tried them yet?  I wonder if the "wiggle" is really loose or tight.

Before I replace hooks I'll spread/widen the gap on hooks if I deem them too small.  Sometimes (not always), increased hook sizes can impede action. Maybe not this lure.  Anyway, just a thought.

I have all the colors. Love them! I have caught crappie, bass, saugeye, catfish. Honestly my favorite lure! I like the minnow color, blue , and white as favorites. Have caught something on all the colors but love this lure!! I do use the bigger size even though I have both.
