WHy are bow mounts so much more expensive than transom electric motors?

If you are looking for one WITHOUT the footpedal there is an easy fix....Just buy the regular transom mount one and flip the handle around, it takes all of 3 minutes on a MK.

For the most part, the foot pedal is a complicated feat.  As is the mount.  Much more in the way of moving parts.  A bow mount hand control isn't THAT much higher than an equivalent transom.  All for the mount.
