Has anybody used the Lew's Magnesium Pro that they could comment on? Seems like a steal of a price for a Magnesium baitcaster. 

How durable are they?

    You meaning the ebay sale for $174.39 with code PRETTYDAY ???  If you didnt know well yep they are on sale for that price. Dont know how the reel performs though cant help you in that area.
