Lews final decision

Featured Replies

Alight so I posted between the bb1 vs tournament pro g but now

Best lews reel for spinnerbaits/jerkbaits?

Bb1 pro 2018

Tournament pro g?

or something else?

Depends on the jerkbait would be my opinion. The pro g is going to cast the lighter baits better, but the BB1 will be better for spinner baits. I have BB1 and older tourney pro and like both. However, the pro g casts lighter baits easier and is more fine tuned it seems. With that said, I also use my BB1 one for moving baits like cranks and spinner baits.

Pro G's are super versatile. Get one, seriously. I have a couple and they are awesome.

The Tournament Pros are versatile reels that I think offer tremendous bang for the buck.  Most of my reels are Lew's, and most of them are TPs.  The dual braking system allows for excellent tuning to specific baits and your casting style.

Tight lines,

Bob
