Hope everyone had a great winter and is ready for a great upcoming fishing season!!!! I am looking for a new ultra-light rod and reel. I love my current Pleuger Supreme Xt and was able to find a 25 series for a reasonable price and was wondering if any of you guys would recommend a G-Loomis Trout Panfish series rod to pair with it. Not sure if I want a 1 piece or 2 piece, but willing to pay for whatever as this will be my bonus present to myself. Thanks in advance for any and all help overall looking to use it as an all around rod for smaller species and when I want to have some fun with ultra-light fishing which I do enjoy. 

Yes, I've used that reel on a TSR801 and it was a great match. That's a nice rod and although it was used to target gills and crappie it made for some fun fights when bass took the bait.

I've fished Loomis rods since the LCI days. I can't recommend a particular UL rod, but you won't go wrong with Loomis.
