Fuse Buse

Featured Replies

I am going to add a couple of fuse/wire buses on my bass boat tomorrow.  It is a old boat and the onwer before didn't have any, so I'm adding them so I can clean up some wiring.  My question is, I have heard about puting a type of jell/jelly on the terimals where the wires connect to help prevent water getting to them.  I was wondering if it's ok to use grease, your all purpose type.  I have half a tube and I was going to use that, but I was just checking to make sure it would be ok.  Have any else done this before?

Do not use regular grease. It conducts electricity. You need to use dielectric grease. Does not conduct.
