I have fished this lake before and have caught some good bags. I went fishing there last week and I'm gonna go again the week before the the first of July. Does anybody have any advice for there I'm kinda stumped being that a caught a couple of small ones. My tournament is the 6,7,8 of July.

Yes, I'm doing a high school tournament there in July. I know nothing about summer fishing at this lake. I've only fished every other time of year there lol.

Hit the pads.  Any place that is different, like an indentation or pocket.  I agree on Junebug.  Also Scuppernong and Candybug.  I think glitter flake helps.

Ok thanks guys, is there any specific style bait? Also, they decided to move it up to the first week of June. Fishing pads is my favorite way to fish.
