Sandy River Reservoir

Featured Replies

Heading to Sandy next week for a couple days. looking for another big one.

We're assuming the late spring hasn't slowed down the spawn but, it would be nice if there were still late spawners.

How's the water temp and your sure bet pattern?

Thx in advance.

Was there yesterday. Water is muddy 2-3foot visibility. Low 80s water temp. Surface temp Kissed 85 late afternoon.

Caught good numbers on soft plastics in the morning working grass lines and wood cover. Sun came out mid day and she shut off until around 7pm.

Thx Fairtax.

Muddy, we can work with that. 85° is a bit warmer than I was hoping for.

Will be looking for that the deeper cooler water.
