Trolling motor bracket help- Motorguide question???

Featured Replies

My Gator Mount is coming apart after 5 years.

The steel pin that guides the pull rope broke in half, and one of the metal end pieces (like a thin C-shaped nut) has come off of another one of the steel pins. I am fairly sure I won't be able to find the parts to fix it, so I am thinking I'll just buy a replacement Gator Mount.

Question:

Are all the Gator Mounts universal? The one I have is circa 2001 model bracket, so I want to know if my TM will fit one of the newer model Gator mounts? I can grab one off eBay for relatively cheap, but I am not sure if my TM will fit it. Also, are the screw holes in the same position?

Thanks,

SC

all the screw holes shouldine up, as far as the mount being universal i dont see why not but i would call motorguide to find out

I believe most Gator's are universal, mine has held more than a few different models. ::)
