Pricing for My Jon Boat I'm Selling.

Featured Replies

I have a 10 foot jon boat that I  am trying to sell and im not sure what i should set the price for. I am going to list it on Craigslist.  I live in the NE corner of Kansas. The boat has NO LEAKS!  It is I think 34 inches wide at the floor. i bought a bigger baot so i have no need for this one anymore and i need money from selling this boat to go into the bigger 14 foot jon i got.  So anybody thats got any suggestions on what i should list the price as, then just tell me please. I have some pictures that im trying to get on. i will get them on hopefully by monday. any body interested in buying a 10 foot jon boat can contact me as well.

thanks alot

I would ask $400 for it and take $350 as your bottom.  If its in great condition. Hope this helps! ;)

10's are a tough sell.  Not to shoot you down at all, just being realistic but I would pay no more than $100-$150 for a 10.  JMO

I've found just the opposite to be true, more people looking for a small boat to use in farm ponds and haul in the back of the pickup.

But the price range is about right considering you can buy a new 10 ft tracker for 390.00 so I'm told.

Buy the way I'd hold on to till everyone is fishing with the cold around Ks right now no one is thinking about fishing but me. ;)

Here is one someone is selling in St Joe

Last summer I purchased a 10' John with no leaks.  It came with a trolling motor, anchor, and paddle, but no title.  I paid $200.00 for it, and had to do magic tricks for my DNR to get a title.
