Muskie Lures for Inshore?

Featured Replies

I'll be moving down to the FL and I know nothing of ocean fishing! But I have got a muskie set up that I will probably try to use for my first few outings (Abu NaCl should work), and I've got a few muskie lures. I'm not sure if I should bother bringing a few down? I've got a lot of those big paddle tail Storm swimbaits, some depth raiders, mag glide baits and a few smaller double cowgirls. Anyone else have experience switch hitting with these lures? (Haha I couldn't resist).

I fish for bull reds and muskies. The NACL will do fine, unless you get sand in it. Make sure you have titanium guides on your rod, or they'll rust. I've never had any luck throwing musky baits in the surf, but YMMV.
