Curious to see what rod spec y’all use for popping frogs??

    I use a 7'4" heavy/fast at the moment. Any 7'+ H/F that isn't a broomstick works great for me.

    7’ heavy.  I don’t like longer rods for tip down applications.

    Same rods I use for non popping hollow-body frogs. 7' 3" 6 power and 7' 9" 5 power.

    I use a Dobyns Champion 735c so a 7'3" 5 power. Basically a softer tip heavy action rod.
