The whole SW coast from Sarasota to Naples is inundated by it.

The heat, excessive rain and the water releases from Okeechobee are really taking a toll.

It happens every year, but this year has been one of the worst..

Man, that sucks! We have the reverse prob.  We are so dry that i havent mowed yard in 5 weeks and it still doesnt need it.  Local lake here in mo. way down and fiah dying from heat and low o2 levels. How bout we take some of that rain you have too much of??

Grass finally dried out so I could cut the field.

Grass was still holding moisture and I had to stop the tractor a number of times to pull the grass out of the blades.

Grass was two to three feet high in some places due to all the rain we received this past two weeks in Richmond, Virginia.

Still have to take the push lawn mower out to cut some places I could not get the tractor to cut it.

Historic James river is like coffee and milk and is high. Dirtiest I have ever seen it.

So in Missouri they nee rain and in Virginia and Florida we have too much rain. And that's the way it is.

I'll agree with Sam on this one about Va.  We have had so much rain that my tomato plants are busting from the influx of moisture.  I haven't fished the James at all and even the smaller flows that clear out relatively quickly are high and muddy.  Lakes are also high and muddy which has water temps higher than i have ever seen.  I was on a smaller 75 acre or so "lake" that isn't real deep, probably 6-7' on average and the lilly pads were all dying and the water was super dark and temps were in the 93 degree range.  I ended up catching a few but it was tough going.   And don't get me started on cutting the grass every dry day we get pretty much...
