I recently picked another Helix 7 Chirp GPS unit and have a previous Helix 7 SI GPS G2N unit with the original 

G2N transducer on the boat. Also recently purchased a new Lund 1775 Impact XS that I need to set up.

My question is the transducer the same for both units? I have the SI G2N transducer still on the old boat

but want to use the SI GPS unit on the new boat.

Also any tips for installation or placement of new transducer on the Lund?
