Can anyone tell me how to bleed air out of the trim and tilt unit on a 75 hp yamaha motor.Took the boat out of storage today and the motor will trim but will not tilt the rest of the way.

I filled the resavoir with fluid, now i believe i need to bleed the system but don't know how.

1. Tilt the OB to the fully up position. Remove the fill plug and top off the reservoir.  Reinstall the plug.  Turn the manual valve screw clockwise until it stops.  Slowly pull upward on the tilt rod to allow the fluid to fill the lower tilt cylinder chamber.  Repeat this step again.

Now turn the manual valve CCW until it stops.

Slowly push down the tilt rod to allow the fluid to enter the upper tilt cylinder.  Repeat all these steps above to completely bleed and fill the system.

I'd suggest getting yourself a Clymer manual BTW.
