Well now that i've converted one boat i think it's time for another being as i think the other one is just too narrow for my liking. So i've found a flat bottom 1436 jon with the 3 bench seats in it. But the problem is i don't know what to do about my whole set-up. I'm not sure if i wanna deck all the way back to the middle seat or mid ways between the front and middle seat or what to do. I'm leaning more towards the decking all the way back to the middle bench. Can somebody give me some ideas of what they think i should do? Any other ideas or pictures would be great too.

you might want to consider not decking all the way up to the bench seats,  it isnt the most stable of setups, but i would deck to the middle seat.

I agree.  Deck to rear of middle bench seat, add a foot control t/m.  Make a floor (like the ones in my boat) for between the middle and rear bench.
