Favorite rods for Texas rigs?

I enjoy using Dobyns rods, but with so many choices on today's market, choosing the right rod becomes difficult. Can yall help me out?

    What price range? I'm a fan of St. Croix, BPS Carbonlites, older

    Shimano Compre rods. The most expensive rod I have is a St. Croix

    Legend Tournament - a great rod.

     

    I like MXF and MHF for "heavier" TX rigs, generally what the rod

    specs mention for weights. Also use ML for lighter rigs.

    I have a Dobyns Dx744 that gets used 90% of the time for texas rigs(1/4-3/8oz mostly), great rod for 3/8oz jigs too. 

     

    My favorite t-rig rod right now is a Kistler helium 3 7'4" MH though.
