Older BPS Rick Clunn reel

Featured Replies

I have an older RC-1H Rick Clunn reel that I bought new many years ago and just brought it back out for pond duty. I took the side cover off and I can't for the life of me remember how to set the centrifugal brakes.  It looks like they are non adjustable as I can't find any way to adjust them.  It's a 4 pin setup but I can't find any way to snap the pins out as they are between spool and magnetic hub.  And nothing seems to turn to adjust them.  If anyone has or had a reel like this i'd appreciate any help. Thanks

If its the one I had, the pins are not adjustable, but it has mag breaks you can adjust.

That makes me feel better. I have the adjustable magnetic but it sure looks non adjustable on the centrifugal.
