ok it seems tracker 165's where not made very well when it came to fitting an outboard from the factory. the space between my cavatation plate and the hull bottom is about 3' - 3.5". I pretty sure that the space is supposed to be like within 1". anyway the cav plate spits up rooster tails out the sides and get my back deck all soaked sense its so far down in the water . i wanna install a manual jackplate so i can lift this motor up to where it should be. ive never had a jackplate and dont really know anything about them. any info on what i should buy would be a great help.
