I am looking for a Color Chartplotter. I want a mapping device only, nothing else. I have sepatae sonar so all I'm looking for is a Chartplotter. I prefer a color screen but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg.

Basically all I want is something to have that will show me where I am at all times in the rivers of Alabama. I would like it to show me lakes and rivers but mainly the rivers.

Any recommendations? THanks!

    Stick with the leader in the space.  Lowrance.  The X Series plotters are out of sight quality wise but come with a pretty hefty price tag too.

    I use Lowrance. Sometimes you get a better price on the combo units. You can use one and not hook up the sonar.
