Bass Tracker "Bantam"

Featured Replies

Have been trolling around the site looking for the answer to this question without any luck... I had a Bass Tracker Bantam 3x given to me.  It's a "plastic" hulled boat (sorry for the inaccurate language) that has seen it's better days.  But it remains in worthy shape to use in small lakes around my house.

Problem is this:  the bottom of the boat is wearing thin.  It has even been reinforced with fiberglass/bondo several times, but now this is even chipping off.  So, what to do?  Do they sell some sort of "skin" to cover the pontoons or would you use some sort of epoxy or waterproofing?  ALL opinions welcome!  Thanks.

contact the company that makes the boat and see what they have to sell you.  also it might be cheaper and easier to buy a new boat but keep all your doors and windows open.
