Searching for Ohio Pro to ride along with for final paper/article!

Featured Replies

Hi guys, longtime removed bass fisherman here. I have a love for fishing stemming from a young age, and always loved watching pros on TV in the morning waiting for my grandpa to pick me up to head to the lake in the summers.

So here I am in my journalism course at college, and we have to write an immersive piece on an interesting career. I had the idea to spend a day out on the water on a practice day with a professional fisherman (OR FORMER, that would work great too!),  and get the real ins and outs of the work that goes into it. I.e. finding the prime spots, following schools, weather patterns, general setup for the day, etc.

I'm located in Ohio, so would hope to find someone located in the state, but would be able to drive to meet for a day! If anyone has any connections or some good ideas of pros to reach out to please comment or PM me!

I really appreciate any help!
