Eakins Jigs

They are great jigs. There were two BASS Elite tournament one with the Eakins Jigs this year. (Clarks Hill and Smith Mnt)

Absolutely awesome jigs, they are extremely effective in pressured situations and are the only brand of jig I throw in finesse situations.

Great jig design - - works equally well on smallies, spots, and largemouth.  That jig originated around here and became extremely popular when the Eakins started tearing it up in area tournaments.

Fluke...be careful what you read....insider tip told me Casey at Smith Mt. had to say that for the sponsor but was actually fishing a Spot Remover finesse jig and the new Perfect Jig and a Spot Remover. This was told to me from a excellent source that actually gave him the bait at the tourney. That being said I also like the Eakins jig as long as you are not fishing alot of grass. There are better choices. If it is rocks and sand they are outsanding.

Eakin Jig is my go to bait. As already stated it is excellent choice around rocks. As for my favorite combination PB&J Eakins jig 4" matching Chomper trailer. I have a lot of confidence in these jigs.

Eakins jigs are good, but the single wire weedguard is inadequate for cover situations.  Try the Jewel Heavy Cover Finesse Football for pitching.
