I have to tell yall about this, it happened this evening concerning the Academy in Lufkin, Texas.

I got to my buddy's home on Sam Rayburn on the way to Toledo Bend. We were checking out our equipment for tommorrow's tournament on Toledo Bend. I discovered both T/M batteries were going bad. Took them out of the boat and drove the 35 miles to Lufkin and carried the batteries into the store. They are both the large Stowaways. I told the girl that they were both bad. One was purchased 10-06 and the other 11-06. She informed me that they only had a 12 month warranty. I thanked her and told her I was going to pickup two new ones and would briong them back to her. As I walked over to the battery section I stopped at the managers desk and ask him if they did in fact have only a one year warranty. He said yes, and after we talked fishing for a couple of minutes he said " Are you fishing that tournament tommorrow?" I said yes and he said that he would go ahead and exchange them for me. He did and I walked out with two new batteries at NO CHARGE. His name was John.

If any of you are in the Lufkin area, shop there and tell John that you read this and just wanted to say hello. Never met him before and only spent maybe 5 minutes with him. That is one of the nicer things that anyone has ever done for me.
