Any one here ever fish Hamilton lake in North east Indiana? Not looking for fishing tips, needing to know if its open HP, any boat restrictions, or speed limits? I will be driving with my son, [He is coming from north west Pa.] its a 3 hour drive there [Hamilton]  from my house, and I would like to know these things before I head up there. I have not been able to get much info from IDNR, other than its public, and the lake board and chamber of commerce have been no help, they don't seem to know anything. Any info helpful thanks

As far as I know, it is open with no restrictions. Only been there once, but have several friends in the area who tourney fished the lake regular and I don’t ever recall them saying anything about being restricted. There are 3 marine companies on the lake though, so I’m sure you could contact one of them and verify that’s still the case (Clark's Landing, Hamilton Lake Marine, Affordable Marine Care).
