    Had a different experience this past weekend while fishing the Chick River.  The perch spawn was happening and the spinnerbait bite was happening but the fish only wanted Gold Indiana Blade with a trailer and it had to have a touch of red on the tail.  My boat was a mess digging for blades and switching parts around.  But, when you got it right it was an amazing bite regardless of the tide.
