Been watching the MLF 2019 Summit Cup series on Lake Champlain. How is it they say it's the 2019 season? With all that GREEN on the trees, that is just not possible! We're just starting to bud here in MA. Something is not on the "up n' up" if you ask me! LOL!

Being shown during the 2019 season, but was shot in 2018 before the formation of BPT. Still a couple more carryover shows when they filmed one year and aired the next.

Aren't all of the cups going to be that format, shown on TV the year after they were fished?  I thought I saw a schedule that showed when the Cups were and that the 1st one (the ones filled with the top anglers of stages 1 & 2) was to be fished prior to stage 3.  In other words, the first cup event fished in 2019 has already occurred, but we won't see it until next year. 

 

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the exact information on the MLF site, so I may be mis-remembering.

I’ll have to check on specifics, but my understanding is that yes, they will be filmed “unannounced” and aired on a delayed basis for television.

That's still pretty misleading if you ask me. They make no bones about it being the "2019" season. I really enjoy the MLF. Much better than the BMC in my opinion, but this outright lying to the views is very disturbing.
