Well I finally upgraded my electronics a little , but I'm still only halfway where I want to be. I got a helix 7 DI up at the trolling motor, and although I don't know how to get the best out of it yet it's a huge upgrade from my last (hbird 197C). My next mission is to get a SI unit for the console . Any suggestions that won't break me? I know the gen3 birds are out , that's how I was able to get my 7 , it's a gen2. As of now my plan is to find a gen2 helix somebody who is upgrading wants to unload. 

Helix 10 mega wait if you have to and save for it. 

May well take a step up. I can manage with the 7 DI for awhile an save up for a 9 or 10 SI. Is the Mega a pretty huge difference
