I’m on the new side to bass fishing and wanting to start getting into higher quality rod and reels. I’ve been looking into the lews tournament mb speed spool. What other reels around the 100 to 150 range would you all suggest? And I’m looking for a 7’6 heavy rod to pair it with. Any suggestions there? I appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you for the response man. I’ll look into all of these whenever I hit up bass pro shops this weekend. 

Tournament MB all day in 7 speed.  They are 100 bucks on ebay.

 

Only other reel I'd recommend is a Diawa Tatula  CT.  They have outstanding brakes and will make learning to use a baitcaster much less miserable.

 

 

I’ve got a couple lews reels right now and I really like them. I like the Daiwa just haven’t been able to put my hands on it yet. I’ll definitely consider it though. Thanks for the input.
