(Yaks) Appomattox demo day

Featured Replies

Anyone know if they offer any decent discounts during their demo day?  I don't know if I will wait that long to upgrade from my SINK, but a price cut might persuade me.

I would think there will probably he some special deals. I haven’t been to the demo day yet, so I can’t say for sure. But will be attending this year!

Great Outdoor Provision Co in VA Beach is having a demo day on Tuesday May 7th. Check out their website for details. I am planning to be there.

The one in Farmville usually doesn't run discounts on new equipment then (I think it usually sometime early June).  The better deals start in November.  They bring a lot of kayaks out to that lake, though, so you'll probably get an idea of what you like.

There will be deals to be had.  last time i went they were selling off their demo boats and their prices are also generally better than you would find anywhere else.  Their online prices aren't as good as in store for sure. I know my last boat I bought, an ATAK 140, was much cheaper in person than their online price.

Ok, guess I'll try to show up and see.  I've narrowed it down to two very different boats, the Radar 135 and the Jackson Bite.  I'm not sure I need hatch covered storage and I like the openness of the Bite but I like the Radar's  track system and the fact that I could add a pedal drive.

it is quite the event.  You won't find a better place to try pretty much every kayak under the sun in one place at one time.  And yeah, those are way different boats for sure lol
