Springfield Contractors Association is hosting it's 4th Annual Bass Bash fishing tournament on Friday, May 3rd at Port of Kimberling Marina. This is open to the public and proceeds go towards the following: National Youth Fishing Association (NYFA), Fish-4-Tales, MSU Construction Club, SCA Scholarship Endowment Fund, and Generation Next General Fund. Entry fee is $100 per boat ($125 day of event) with 80% payout and winner receives free entry into Lake of the Ozarks Fall Big Bass Bash. There are also raffle donation items from T-H Marine and Lew's during weigh-in and lunch. Free goodie bag, tshirt, and BBQ lunch afterwards. This tournament is managed by J.P. Sell of Lew's/NYFA/Fish-4-Tales and there are currently 62 boats registered. Last year's event had 75 boats participate and is a sanctioned event for Skeeter Boats Real Money Rewards and Nitro/Tacker/Mako Bass Pro Tournament Rewards.
