New Tatula vs Tatula Elite???

Featured Replies

Thinking about picking up a new Jig rod. Looking at either 7’1 MH F or a 7’1 HF. I have the new Tatula in MHF and so far I really like it, but have been wondering if the Elite is worth the price jump. Also wondering if the HF would be better for jigs 3/8-3/4 than my MHF that I use for Texas rigs. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome

Are we talking regular elite or elite with AGS guides?

Me either. I handled some of the elites in store but haven't fished em. With that said, they are really nice rods. I would spend the extra $30 over the Tatula and get the elite.

I would maybe go with the H rod also. I usually throw a 1/4 oz jig with a trailer and it close to 3/4 oz total weight. I run the MH with that setup without issues but any heavier and I would most likely go up a rod power.

Thanks. The tatulas are $100 at sportsman’s outfitters, I’m not sure where I could find the elites for 130 though. I’m thinking about the heavy rod as well.

Just looked. I would just hop on that deal. I thought we were talking MSRP. Sorry about that.
