Largemouth Bass Fishing near Harrisburg Pennsylvania

Featured Replies

I'll be in the Harrisburg area this upcoming weekend, and was wondering where a person without a boat could either rent a boat and fish, or fish from the banks. I know of many good Smallmouth Areas, but many of my spots will be blown out because of the incoming rain. If you could give me any tips on good places to fish for Largemouth around the Harrisburg/Middletown area, that'd be really appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Pinchot Lake is listed by PA fish and game as a top lake for LMB. It's only 10-15 miles from Harrisburg.

Some bank fishing there. They have canoe and kayak rentals, but no boat rentals AFAIK.

Thanks a lot! I saw this in my research, and it now sounds like it's a great place to give a try. Thanks for the tips!
