As a reference to any Legend Tournament Bass curious people.

I have three fishing trips under my belt trying out 30lb Power Pro to 15lb Seaguar Red Label leader tied with an FG knot.

I never tried this rig because I thought the micro guides would be too small to use braid to a leader. I even brought out an extra reel with straight Copoly just incase it didn't work out.

I have to say, I have zero issues with it. The line is the same volume coming through the guides as my other rods with standard guides.

I keep my joining knot out of the reel, usually between the first two guides when in casting position.

Just my 2 cents.
