Pedestal/base compatibility

Featured Replies

I bought a Swivl-Eze pedestal for my old Bass Tracker. The pedestal does not fit snugly and wobbles in the base. Has anyone else had a problem with this? Is there any cure?

The original pedestal doesn't wobble, but I wanted a stand-up seat.

Replace the base?  If it's old, the nylon bushing has worn out.  I just replaced my bow base last week.  The seat would rock 3-4" side to side.

The original pedestal is still a snug fit, so I don't think that is the problem.

I went ahead and replaced the base.  I'm set to go now.
