Charity tournament

Every year the third Saturday in September there's a charity night tournament to benefit the rescue and fire folks. It's a fun time capped off with a breakfast cooked at the weigh-in.

There were 57 boats entered and we finished in the # eight spot. It was tough. We weighed in our best three that went 5.9. I lost two fish that would have bumped us way up but that's fishing. One of the greatest things about getting older is you simply understand that losing a few fish doesn't mean the world is coming to an end. :)

i fish very few tournaments anymore but this is one I never miss. These guys greatly appreciate the little bit of help we can give. They give so much, in so many ways, It's the least I can do.

This isn't  a big fish report nor is it a huge numbers story. It's more about a small vibrant community that still takes pride in where they live.
