Hey everyone, I've been struggling with the spotted bass recently on Lanier in this heat. They seem to be moving around a lot on herring and are finicky. Was thinking maybe a change of species? Does anyone have experience with areas they frequently find largemouth on Lanier, or is it just luck? I've caught a few good ones shallow here and there on the lower end, but it's always by chance, and don't have any real idea on how to target them. Thanks

Did well yesterday with Neko rig and jig. All were spots. I usually found largemouths shallower. Targeted them last week in shallow water with hollow bodied frog. Not much success. Spots are easier to catch and fight much harder anyway.
