Troll Tamer!!

 

I've never given that trolling motor lock any thought. The way you use it has intrigued me!  My Ultrex isn't the easiest to get out of the locked position. The way you use it is brilliant. I imagine deployment is much easier and faster! Thanks for sharing.

I was in your same position years ago until Takahiro showed it to me. By extending the bolt on the troll tamer you can bypass the lock on the trolling motor mount and it works like a dream.

I bought that hydra wire connector, took it to the boat, pulled off  all of the fit over wire connectors from the battery and found that half of them will not fit over the screws of the hydra...too small.  So it is sitting on the shelf waiting for me to put larger fit over connectors on the wires.  A great device though and I was disappointed that I could not use it right away.
