Going to Clear lake for a fishing tournament this weekend. If anyone has any advice or places to fish, it would be greatly appreciated. I am newer to bass fishing and don't know everything yet but am learning.

I realize you're young and don't want to be too hard on you, but it would be great if you ever followed up with how you did or even thanked people for their tips when they try to help you.

 

Look for grass/vegetation that is still green (alive) and toss a green pumpkin black flake or junebug senko along the edges. That should almost always get you a limit on Clear Lake. The tule lines in deeper water seem to be producing better than shallow. The shad schools are so thick it may not even be worth fishing them unless you see a lot of active feeding on top or shooting through them. Best of luck.

Sorry man, I didnt go to Clear Lake and usually I thank people in advance. If I actually fished the places I asked for advice for, then I would post how I did. But usually, I can't get a boat for the tournaments that I want go to.
