Alumacraft Phantom V170?

Featured Replies

Since I have to get rid of my triton I'm looking to possibly pick up this boat.  I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this boat?  I see some places its labeled as a bass boat, others a muskie, walleye, etc boat.  I personally see it more as an all around boat.  THanks

I have no experience with that boat, but my brother has an Alumacraft Trophy V17, It has a walk thru windshield. It is a great boat, not to big and not to small. Easy to tow, and runs great. Great in big water. Have run it in 6 footer up in Erie and never got wet. A pretty fast, his has a 125Merc and will run in the low 50's. Just like you said, this is a great all around boat. Can use it as a family boat, ski boat and fishing boat. Great in shallow water and big water
